We build a modern automated operations system that helps organisations manage and mediate assignments efficiently. Our system handles over 1000 assignments daily in our operations.
Our service runs in Google Cloud. We utilise AI technologies to support automation, intelligent process control and development. Our client application is built with Flutter (iOS, Android and web).

What does the Software Developer role involve at Youpret?
We are now looking for an experienced software developer to join our team who has insight into various areas of software development.
As a Senior Software Developer you will work on-site at our Joensuu office as part of the development team. Tasks include backend development and Flutter app work, and you will influence the whole product experience.
You will build platform features used in complex mediation and resource management solutions.
Main responsibilities
You don't need to master all areas; we will match responsibilities to your skills.
- Design and implement core service components in Google Cloud
- Develop Youpret's backend logic and REST APIs
- Participate in Flutter app development and integrations
- Build scalable and reliable solutions for intelligent mediation and automation
- Participate in architecture decisions and technical roadmap planning
- Leverage AI technologies to support processes, automation and development
- Support information security and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements
We expect from you
- 8+ years of Java development experience
- 8+ years of experience in Google Cloud
- Experience with Google database services (Datastore, BigQuery)
- Good understanding of REST APIs and modern backend design
- Experience with application development (Flutter and React are advantages)
- Ability to design scalable and reliable systems
- Good Finnish and English language skills
What we consider an advantage
- Experience with mediation, resource management or operational systems (e.g. collective agreements, financial systems) is a plus
- Interest in human-centred technology and data-driven automation
- Readiness to work primarily from the Joensuu office to enable close collaboration
- Experience utilising AI solutions in software development
